We are hiring a Domestic Abuse Intervention Officer located in London. This is contrat role. The Domestic Abuse Intervention Officer will be responsible for providing support and advocacy for clients affected by domestic abuse. This includes conducting risk assessments,
developing safety plans, coordinating with law enforcement and other agencies, and offering emotional support and resources to clients. The officer will also facilitate group sessions, participate in community outreach, and maintain accurate records of all
interactions and interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with children and families
• ⁠Knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse dynamics and intervention strategies
• ⁠Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans
• ⁠Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
• ⁠Experience in coordinating with law enforcement and other agencies
• ⁠Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills
• ⁠Ability to facilitate group sessions and conduct community outreach
• ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
• ⁠Must Have HCPC registration
